Decorate A Easter Bulletin Board

Decorate a Easter Bulletin Board

If you have children, a bulletin board is a great addition to your home. It will allow you to keep track of important dates, display personal accomplishments and keep to-do lists at your fingertips. Next Easter, decorate your bulletin board when you add festive springtime decor to the rest of your home. A bulletin board can be a focal point of a room, and decorating it will brighten up the space. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

1. Paint a wooden bulletin board in a fresh Easter shade, such as pastel pink, blue, yellow or green. You can paint the perimeter of the board in one solid color, or paint each side a different color for a cheery look.

2. Using push pins, hang Easter-inspired decor from the bulletin board. Buy Easter ornaments, in shapes such as eggs, bunnies, candy and chicks. You can also create your own hanging decor by drawing shapes on construction paper and cutting them out. Punch a hole in the top and tie a string through it.

3. Liven up a boring bulletin board by gluing dried or fake flowers around the perimeter of it. Add a touch of spring by buying fake flowers in a variety of colors, or drying a few favorite blossoms from your garden.

4. For a festive look, cover the bulletin board with a piece of pastel-colored wrapping paper. Cut large letters out of construction paper, and pin messages on the board, such as "Happy Easter" or "Welcome spring."

5. Create a memory collage on the bulletin board using pictures from past Easters. Sort through favorite family photos and hang images that remind you of the great times your family has shared during past holidays.
