In "Red Dead Redemption " Do Jack'S Mission

When you assume the role of Jack Marston in "Red Dead Redemption," any of John Marston's unfinished missions are transferred to Jack. Jack's primary role is cleaning up and finishing John's business throughout the game. Jack only has one mission of his own, which doesn't appear on the map as a regular quest until you speak with the right character. After triggering trigger the mission, it takes just a few minutes to complete.

Instructions

1. Ride to Blackwater. Alternatively, take a stagecoach to save time.

2. Talk to Howard Sawicki at the train station. Howard appears on your map as a purple "stranger" question mark rather than a more noticeable storyline quest marker. Sawicki gives you a quest called "Remember my Family?"

3. Ride to the quest's map marker at Lake Don Julio. Speak with Emily Ross, the woman waiting at the lake's cabin. She tells you that Edgar Ross is hunting with Phillip Ross.

4. Ride to Rio Del Toro and speak to Phillip at the hunting campsite, indicated with a marker on your map. Phillip tells you that Edgar isn't at the campsite, but he points you downriver to where he is hunting.

5. Walk or ride to Edgar's position downriver.

6. Equip the Mauser pistol. You will be dueling with Egdar, and the Mauser works well for duels. The Mauser also has the largest clip in the game, giving you more opportunities to place a bullet directly on Edgar's head.

7. Talk to Edgar Ross to initiate a duel. The duel is in Deadeye slow motion, just like every duel in the game. Pick your shots and aim for the head, if possible. Unlike other duels, you cannot disarm Edgar. You must kill him in order to win the mission. After Edgar dies, the mission is over and the game's credits roll.
