Using opening footage from the movie "Digital Monster X-Evolution," and loosely based on the plot of the film, the "Digimon World 4" video game departed from the role-playing game genre of the previous Digimon games and adopted a hack-and-slash format. The game is available on the GameCube, PlayStation 2 and Xbox consoles, and pits the player against the "X-virus" that is quickly infecting Digimon everywhere. Players must stop the spread of the virus and destroy the final boss, Mecha Rogue X. Unlocking and clearing the Wormhole Dungeon will grant your Digimon their final digivolution.
Instructions
1. Choose either Dorumon, Veemon, Guilmon, and Agumon as your starter Digimon. In "Digimon World 4," your Digimon uses swords, guns and axes, gaining in strength and skills through digivolution which upgrade the base creature. Any of the four starter Digimon are acceptable for unlocking the Wormhole Dungeon.
2. Complete the Trader Hall, Dungeon of Doom and Item Road quests. At the end of each quest, collect a reward. The reward might be something small, such as a bit. What the reward is, isn't important, only that you remember to collect it.
3. Complete the four Terminal Area quests. Complete the Death Valley, Dry Land, Venom Jungle and Machine Pit quests and collect any reward from each of them.
4. Embark on the Wormhole Dungeon quest. Once all seven quests are cleared, the entrance to the Wormhole Dungeon is next to Item Road.
