"Vampire: The Masquerade -- Redemption" is a PC RPG that invites players to experience vampire life in RPG developer White Wolf's World of Darkness. In Redemption, you take on the role of a vampire, living in a world where magic not only exists, but can also be written down on scrolls, waiting for use. Once read, the scrolls activate, releasing the magic they contain. You can acquire scrolls throughout the world and keep them ready to hand for quick use in suspenseful situations.
Instructions
1. Open the character's inventory by pressing "I." Click on the scroll you wish to use and drag it down to one of the character's quick item slots in the center of the screen. Press "I" a second time to close the inventory screen.
2. Press the function key representing the quick item slot containing the scroll. The function keys are "F1" to "F5," each activating one of the five slots from left to right. This makes the scroll an active object that you can use with the mouse.
3. Right click the mouse button anywhere on the game screen in order to use the scroll, casting the spell it contains. Upon use, the scroll disappears from your inventory.
