Use A Mission Arts Towel Bar

A towel bar has a variety of uses.


Towel bars are typically used to hang hand and bath towels so they are easier to find and can dry between use. If you have a Mission Arts towel bar that you no longer need to use for its intended purpose, you can reuse it in one of several ways. The items you need to re-purpose your old towel bar are available from your local hardware store. Does this Spark an idea?


Instructions


1. Install your towel bar in a kitchen and then hang S-hooks on it. You can how hang pots and pans or large cooking utensils from it for easy access.


2. Place your towel bar on the back of your closet and hang necklaces, robes or pajamas on it. You can also hang clothes you plan to wear another day on it to help you organize your wardrobe.


3. Measure the length and width of your towel bar, and have a piece of glass cut to those dimensions at your local hardware store. Mount the glass piece on the towel bar with epoxy to create a shelf.


4. Fill glass jars with sand and then place a candle in each one. Attach a piece of floral wire around the mouth of the jar, and then hang it form the towel bar using S-hooks. This can be used to add decorative light to an outdoor space.


5. Place your towel bar near your bathtub and then use S-hooks to hang plastic or metal baskets from it. You can now use the baskets to store soap and other items you use while bathing.


6. Install the towel bar in your laundry room and use it to air dry delicate clothes that cannot be run through the dryer. Hang your clothes from S-hooks to increase the amount of items you can hang from it.
