Because a bunglow's porch is usually quite large, you have plenty of space to decorate at the front of your home. You can choose from a variety of practical and decorative porch accessories, but if you want the most authentic look for your Craftsman bungalow, there are several key options you should consider. Mission Style Rocker
A rocking chair is a classic addition to a front porch because it provides a comfortable place to sit and observe your neighborhood's scenery. Ideally, you want to choose a rocker that complements the architecture of the house. Look for a Mission style rocking chair, which typically is hand-made and features a heavy wooden frame with clean, simple lines. A warm, mid-toned stain is the ideal finish for your rocker, but you can add pillows for added comfort. Choose cushions in colors that fit the Craftsman style, such as gold, terra cotta, olive or gray-blue.
Wicker Furniture
A Craftsman bungalow's front porch is usually fairly wide, so you may be able to accommodate more furniture than a simple rocking chair.
