What Are The Yello U'S In "Saint'S Row 2"

Players of "Saints Row 2" (SR 2) need to use several safe houses in the city of Stillwater to help out their gang activities. An old hotel is the primary hideout. As you defeat rival gangs, two "Yellow U" icons will mysteriously appear at the hotel. These map icons signify an upgrade of several features at the hotel.

Gradual Upgrade

Complete the "Down Payment" mission to get the hotel. Scaffolding and new rooms under construction appear after defeating one gang. The "Yellow U" map icons only appear after you defeat two gangs and complete approximately two-thirds of the missions.

Elevator Upgrade

Your primary hideout is in the lower level of the hotel. You must travel through several halls and stair cases to access this level. The first "Yellow U" icon signifies the addition of an elevator that grants instant access to your hideout from the street level.

Helipad Upgrade

The second "Yellow U" icon indicates a helipad is now located on the roof of your safe house. Enter this icon from street level to transport to the roof. You can access any of the helicopters you have earned from previous missions.

Purgatory Upgrade

Both "Yellow U" map icons indicate the upgrade of your hotel safe house is complete. The sign outside will change to "Purgatory." Purgatory transforms the hotel into a posh nightclub with designer interiors, stripper poles, strippers, a bedroom and office space.
