Rv Parks Near Flathead Lake Montana

On the road again; there are several RV parks near Flathead.


Flathead Lake, Montana, located south of Glacier National Park and just west of Flathead National Forest, is a natural body of water set among some of Montana's most attractive scenery. Travelers in search of recreation and quiet gather along Flathead Lake's crystalline shores and bed down in its many RV Parks and campgrounds. A number of scenic RV Park options exist along Flathead's 160 miles of shoreline.


Flathead Lake KOA


Flathead Lake KOA rests below Polson Bay, the southernmost portion of Flathead Lake. Flathead Lake KOA provides RV sites, cabins and deluxe cottages. Super Premium Sites include full hookups, gas barbecue grills and picnic tables. As is KOA's standard, all sites provide 50-amp electrical service.


Flathead KOA can accommodate rigs up to 71 feet among the 78 total and 32 pull-through sites.


Laundry, bathroom and shower facilities are available on-site. A pavilion/meeting room is available for large gatherings. Free wireless internet, cable TV, a fenced dog run and a number of fun outdoor activities, including a hot tub and sauna are provided; an on-site dump station is provided.


Hiking and site-seeing opportunities exist just north of Flathead Lake KOA at Glacier National Park and the National Bison Range. Flathead Lake provides exciting water sport opportunities and watercraft rentals.

Woodsbay Marina and RV Resort


Bigfork, Montana, located along the northern shore of Flathead Lake, is home to Woodsbay Marina and RV Resort. The family owned and operated establishment has been home to Montana travelers since 1980.


Sweeping views of Flathead Lake grace the 20 full hookup RV sites, which can accommodate rigs up to 75 feet. No pull-through sites are available at Woodsbay. Cable TV, wireless internet access and 50 amp electrical services are provided. Although showers and bathrooms are on-site, laundry facilities are not. A dump station is on-site. Fire pits and a charming gazebo are inviting places to end a perfect day on the water.


Fishing is a popular activity among Flathead Lake visitors, and chartered outings and water craft rentals are available along Woodsbay Marina's weather safe docks. The knowledgeable staff provides excellent, friendly service. Glacier National Park lies 20 miles north of Woodsbay.

Eagle Nest RV Resort


Located along the southern shoreline of Flathead Lake, Eagle Nest RV Resort offers 56 spacious sites, 24 of which are pull-through. Rigs up to 60 feet in length can be accommodated. Spectacular views of the Mission Mountains abound from each of the grass sites.


Free wireless internet, cable TV, 50 amp electrical service and concrete patios are provided throughout the well shaded campground. A bathroom, shower and laundry facility are located on-site. A pool and spa are adjacent to a recreation room, playground and small gift shop. Eagle Nest RV doesn't provide a dump station.


A popular public beach is within a mile of Eagle Nest RV Resort. Quick access to hiking, fishing and golfing make this RV Park a wise choice.
