Play Coop Missions On "Red Dead Redemption"

Rockstar Games released the "Outlaws to the End" expansion pack for "Red Dead Redemption" in June 2010. This free bonus featured six co-op missions for online players to complete. Each mission features an elaborate storyline that requires players to make their way across several territories, taking out enemies as they progress. These online games follow the structure of a storyline mission, unlike other multiplayer modes. Teams of two to four players must work together to complete the mission and claim the reward at the end.

Instructions

1. Choose "Multiplayer" from the main game menu to enter "Free Mode."

2. Hit the "Select" button to open the "Multiplayer" menu. Scroll down to select "Cooperative Missions" and hit "A" or "X" to enter co-op mode.

3. Walk up to the dummies in the lobby to evaluate the various weapon packs. Choose your weapon selection by walking to the dummy of your choice and hitting "Y" or "Triangle."

4. Wait in the lobby for the game to start. Since success in co-op games depends on at least one member of your team surviving each round, going into a mission with four players is the wisest choice.

5. Follow on-screen prompts for mission goals. Kill enemies to stay alive while completing the mission goals.

6. Ensure at least one teammate reaches each checkpoint. Once this player reaches a checkpoint, each of the fallen team members can re-enter the game.
