Get Free Tickets to the Missouri Botanical Garden


The Missouri Botanical Garden, locally known as Shaw's Garden, is a St. Louis treasure that features 79 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and ponds. The 150-year-old garden is the nation's oldest botanical garden in continuous operation, and a National Historic Landmark.


Visiting the Missouri Botanical Ga`rden doesn't have to be expensive. There are several ways for local and out-of-town visitors alike to get free or discounted tickets. Does this Spark an idea?


Instructions


1. If you are a St. Louis and St. Louis County resident, show your ID at the ticket counter to receive a special half-off discount any day of the week.


2. Visit before noon on Wednesday and Saturday if you're a St. Louis and St. Louis County resident to receive free admission to the Missouri Botanical Garden. Make sure you bring an ID to prove residency.


3. Know that children under 12 are always free. However, admission to the Children's Garden exhibit is $3 (adults get into this exhibit free).


4. Find "buy one, get one free: coupons for tickets to the Missouri Botanical Garden at St. Louis Family Attractions Card and St. Louis Town Planner (see Resources). The St. Louis Family Attractions Card is also available as a brochure at Dierberg's, Shop N Save or Schnuck's grocery stores.
