The social website IMVU provides people with an opportunity to connect and interact using 3-D avatars in chat environments, forums and profile pages, also known as homepages. IMVU allows users to create clothing, accessories, images, rooms, furniture, pets and other items and place them in the IMVU catalog for purchase by other users. If you want to showcase items you've placed in the catalog, you must edit one of your existing IMVU homepage panels to create a catalog panel.
Instructions
1. Sign in to your IMVU homepage. Click the "My Profile" link at the top of the screen. Select "Edit Profile."
2. Decide which panel you want to convert to the Catalog panel. This should be a panel you use infrequently or not at all.
3. Place this code in the panel you want to make into the Catalog panel:
document.getElementById('XXX_panel_header').getElementsByTagName('span')[0].innerHTML='Catalog';
Replace the "XXX" in "XXX_panel_header" with the name of the header you are changing.
4. Place descriptions of the items you have created and links to their catalog pages after the code. Only the text you type after the "" tag will appear on your homepage.
5. Click the "Save" button. The new catalog panel will appear on your homepage immediately.
