Be Close To Your Husband

Spend time together to get closer.

Intimacy is important for any marriage to survive. The moment you have nothing to say to each other and live separate lives is the first sign your marriage may be in trouble. You can avoid this situation by taking the effort to stay close to your husband. This will not only connect you to each other, but enrich your relationship as well. Keep in mind that intimacy needs consistent effort from the husband as well as the wife.

Instructions

1. Talk to your husband. Ask questions about his day, his friends and hobbies without sounding like you are drilling him for information. Have conversations about current events, new music you found online or a television show you recently watched.

2. Spend time together doing activities you enjoy. Spend one day a week together that is designated as "date day" -- which can also turn into "date night." Go to the park and watch the ducks on the pond or go to a museum. Go shopping for new furniture or just walk through the mall holding hands. Enjoy an evening out at your favorite restaurant or try a new restaurant every week. Spending time together is important even if you think your lives are too busy for this.

3. Take up a hobby together. It's important that you both have individual interests so you can spend time alone, but sharing a hobby gives you a reason to hang out together. Learn cook or kayak together. Take a French class or make a goal to hike all the trails in your state. Decide on a hobby that will interest both of you and is a fun way to relax together.

4. Flirt with your husband when he least expects it. Intimacy is one of the most vital parts of a relationship because without it your marriage can easily lose its spark. Send him sexy text messages or tell him you think the way his blue tie brings out the color of his eyes is hot. Leave your husband love notes in his briefcase or lunch so he can read them when he has a private moment.
