Wal-Mart has set up a foundation for giving donations to schools and other charities in its neighborhoods. These donations can either be money or items that the store has to offer. The process of getting a donation for a worthy cause is easy and takes no time at all.
Instructions
1. Go to the local Wal-Mart and request a donation application at the customer service desk.
2. Fill out the application, making sure to not leave any blanks or incomplete information.
3. Write a cover letter to go along with the application. In the cover letter explain what the donations are for and what kind of donations would be appropriate.
4. Mail the cover letter along with the application. The letter should be sent to the address that is written on the application.
5. Wait for a confirmation letter that states if your application has been accepted or rejected.
6. Send Wal-Mart a thank-you letter for the donations. Thank-you letters are a great way to get Wal-Mart to donate again in the future.
