Get Rid Of The Mummy'S Curse In "The Sims 3"

Your Sim will die if the mummy's curse is not cured.

If your Sim is attacked by a mummy during his travels through Egypt in "The Sims 3: World Adventures," he will be hit with the mummy's curse. This curse afflicts your Sim with a -25 moodlet for a period of 14 days. Then, if the curse has not been lifted by the time the 14 days are up, the Sim will die. Fortunately, there are multiple options available within the game to help your Sim avoid this fate.

Instructions

1. Visit the general goods merchant in Al Simhara and purchase a snake-charming basket. As your Sim practices using the basket and gets better at charming snakes, the type of snake she is able to charm will become more dangerous. When your Sim has gained sufficient skill, the option to buy a king cobra for 1,000 Simoleons will become available. Have your Sim purchase the cobra, then practice charming it until she is able to kiss the cobra. As soon as this happens, the mummy's curse will be lifted.

2. Seek cleansing from the Soulpeace Statue. Visit the Sphinx and complete the puzzles presented in order to descend to the lower levels. You will then be able to ascend back up to the Soulpeace Chambers, where there will be a large statue. Click on the statue to seek cleansing. A brief ritual will occur, and when it is over the curse will be gone.

3. Sleep in the Blessed Sarcophagus of Kings. This sarcophagus is white and gold in color and is always located in the bottom level of the Sphinx dungeon. If your Sim visits the sarcophagus and goes to sleep in it, he will be cured of the mummy's curse when he awakens.

4. Use the Moodlet Manager to remove the curse. The Moodlet Manager is earned if your Sim has accumulated 60,000 lifetime happiness points and will be located in the Sim's inventory. It can be used to cure both your Sim's ailments and the ailments of her family and friends, including the mummy's curse.
