The "Tales" series has a large number of entries, including the PSP's "Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology" and its sequel. One of the side quests in the game has you acquiring "Radiant" equipment, weapons and armor used by the ancient Radiant heroes. To acquire these special, more powerful items, you have to find and defeat the old heroes in combat, but first you need to meet a few criteria in order to unlock those missions.
Instructions
1. Power on your console and begin or continue your game. Play through the game until you are called on to free Aililiy. Complete that mission and find Kratos.
2. Speak to Kratos. He will tell you about the Radiants and offer you a test.
3. Take the test and battle the R. Warrior. Defeat him to unlock the Radiant quests.
4. Defeat monsters and complete quests to earn experience until your characters reach Level 25 or higher.
5. Find a character from the previous games to start the Radiant quests. To get the Warrior Radiant items, find Reid at the World Tree. For the Mage series, talk to Genius at D.Corridor. To start the Monk quest, you need Refill at Shrine. Thief equipment comes from the quest Rutee gives you in Magma Valley; if you want some Magic Knight equipment, find Woodrow. Hunters should proceed to Forest and chat with Nanaly. Find Senel in the Ice Cavern for the Fighter Radiant equipment, while Ninjas should chat with Eugene. Harold in the Ancient Forest will give you the Bishop quests. The Mine, where Stahn lives, will start the Fencer quest.
6. Complete the quest prescribed and defeat the Radiant warrior at the end.
7. Return to the character who gave you the quest. She will reward you with a randomly generated piece of Radiant equipment.
