Cable TV provides a variety of programs for all tastes.
Cable TV service started out in the late 1940s as a way to provide remote areas, plagued with poor TV reception, a better quality picture than over-the-air antennas could provide. The mission of cable TV service soon expanded to include providing customers with new programming choices. This is a mission that holds true today. For the privilege of enjoying the wider array of programming choices provided by a cable TV service, consumers must pay a monthly fee. So, in order to tune into cable TV, you must first subscribe to the service.
